This page covers MIANTRO Arcade for Mac and for Apple TV, and this website. Last updated October 2026. Tunocracy has its own privacy policy and terms.

In short

• MIANTRO Arcade is a frontend for the FinalBurn Neo emulator: an interface to browse and launch the arcade ROMs you already own. Prado Software does not distribute games, ROMs or BIOS files.
• MIANTRO Arcade is free and open source. It has no ads, no purchases and asks for no donations.
• It includes no games and never shares games. The only games it can download are, on Apple TV and only if you ask, the arcade games their owners released for free, non-commercial use, straight from mamedev.org, the MAME project's site.
• It collects no personal data. Everything it saves stays on your Mac or your Apple TV.

Games and trademarks

MIANTRO Arcade is a frontend for the FinalBurn Neo emulator. It plays arcade ROM files that you provide. Use only ROMs you have the right to use. The app never sends ROMs to other people: when you play together, each person uses their own copy and only button presses travel between the Macs.

Game titles, artwork, logos and trademarks belong to their respective owners. MIANTRO Arcade and Prado Software are not affiliated with, sponsored or endorsed by any of them. Game names are used only to identify the games.

To show the cabinets, the app downloads artwork (marquees, flyers, bezels, short gameplay videos) to your Mac from the Arcade Database and The Bezel Project. Prado Software does not host or distribute that artwork. If you own rights to any of it and want it out of the app, write to info@pradosoftware.com and we'll remove it.

The app also downloads game logos from libretro-thumbnails, under the same terms.

Open source and third-party software

The source code of MIANTRO Arcade, including every change we made to FinalBurn Neo, can be downloaded from this site: MIANTRO-Arcade-0.6.6-codigo-fuente.zip (28 MB). It includes our four patches to FinalBurn Neo, in the parches folder.

• FinalBurn Neo (libretro core, version 1.0.0.03): distributed under its own non-commercial license, included in the app and here, in full. As that license requires, our changes to its source are public, the app is free and we don't ask for donations. FinalBurn Neo is also subject to the MAME license.
• FFmpeg 7.1.2: used to decode the cabinet videos, under the GNU LGPL 2.1, as separate dynamic libraries that you can replace. Its source is available at ffmpeg.org, and the exact build script is in our source package.
• hiscore.dat: the high-score table definitions shipped with FinalBurn Neo.
• This website uses the Archivo typeface under the SIL Open Font License, served from this site.

Privacy in the app

MIANTRO Arcade has no accounts, no analytics and no tracking. It connects to the internet only for these things:

• Other devices with MIANTRO Arcade (Mac or Apple TV): on your home network it announces your arcade so they join the same one (Home arcade, which you can turn off), and when you open your arcade or visit someone else's: the name you choose, which machine you're standing at, the buttons you press while playing together, and the high scores and settings of the machine being played.
• Your router, using UPnP or NAT-PMP, to open port 47800 only while your arcade is open, and close it when you close it.
• api.ipify.org, icanhazip.com or ifconfig.me, to learn your public IP address and build your invite code, only when you open your arcade.
• pradosoftware.com, when the app opens and when you choose Check for Updates, to see whether there is a new version. Nothing about you is sent.
• adb.arcadeitalia.net and raw.githubusercontent.com, to download cabinet artwork for the games in your arcade. These requests include the name of the game.
• mamedev.org (Apple TV), only when you choose Freely distributable games and accept that they are for non-commercial use: the app downloads those games from there. MAME is the only one authorized to distribute them; Prado Software never hosts them.
• Your own iCloud, only if you use it to pass your ROMs from your Mac to your Apple TV. Only you can see them.

Your ROMs, settings, high scores and artwork stay on your device: on the Mac in ~/Library/Application Support/MIANTRO ARCADE, and on the Apple TV inside the app.

Privacy on this website

This website uses no cookies, no analytics and no third-party scripts or fonts. Your language choice is kept in your browser. Our hosting provider, Hostinger, keeps standard server logs (such as IP addresses and pages requested) to run the service.

No warranty

MIANTRO Arcade is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. Prado Software is not liable for any damage arising from its use.

En resumen

• MIANTRO Arcade es gratis y de código abierto. No tiene publicidad ni compras, y no pide donaciones.
• No incluye juegos y nunca comparte juegos. Los únicos juegos que puede bajar son, en el Apple TV y solo si lo pedís, las recreativas que sus dueños liberaron para uso gratuito y no comercial, directo de mamedev.org, el sitio del proyecto MAME.
• No recolecta datos personales. Todo lo que guarda queda en tu Mac o en tu Apple TV.

Juegos y marcas

MIANTRO Arcade es una interfaz para el emulador FinalBurn Neo. Usa archivos de ROMs de arcade que ponés vos. Usá solo ROMs que tengas derecho a usar. La app nunca envía ROMs a otras personas: cuando juegan juntos, cada uno usa su propia copia y entre las Macs solo viajan los botones que se aprietan.

Los nombres, el arte, los logos y las marcas de los juegos son de sus respectivos dueños. MIANTRO Arcade y Prado Software no están afiliados a ninguno de ellos ni cuentan con su patrocinio o aval. Los nombres de los juegos se usan solo para identificarlos.

Para mostrar los muebles, la app descarga arte (marquesinas, folletos, marcos, videos cortos) a tu Mac desde Arcade Database y The Bezel Project. Prado Software no aloja ni distribuye ese arte. Si tenés derechos sobre alguna parte y querés que la app no lo use, escribinos a info@pradosoftware.com y lo sacamos.

La app también descarga los logos de los juegos desde libretro-thumbnails, en los mismos términos.

Código abierto y software de terceros

El código fuente de MIANTRO Arcade, con todos los cambios que le hicimos a FinalBurn Neo, se puede bajar de este sitio: MIANTRO-Arcade-0.6.6-codigo-fuente.zip (28 MB). Incluye nuestros cuatro parches a FinalBurn Neo, en la carpeta parches.

• FinalBurn Neo (núcleo libretro, versión 1.0.0.03): se distribuye con su propia licencia no comercial, incluida en la app y acá, completa. Como pide esa licencia, nuestros cambios a su código son públicos, la app es gratis y no pedimos donaciones. FinalBurn Neo también está sujeto a la licencia de MAME.
• FFmpeg 7.1.2: se usa para reproducir los videos de los muebles, con la GNU LGPL 2.1, como bibliotecas dinámicas separadas que podés reemplazar. Su código está en ffmpeg.org y el script exacto de compilación está en nuestro paquete de código.
• hiscore.dat: las definiciones de tablas de récords que vienen con FinalBurn Neo.
• Este sitio usa la tipografía Archivo, con la SIL Open Font License, servida desde este mismo sitio.

Privacidad en la app

MIANTRO Arcade no tiene cuentas, analíticas ni rastreo. Se conecta a internet solo para esto:

• Otros aparatos con MIANTRO Arcade (Mac o Apple TV): en la red de tu casa anuncia tu salón para que queden en el mismo (Sala de casa, que se puede apagar), y cuando abrís tu salón o visitás el de otro: el nombre que elijas, frente a qué máquina estás, los botones que apretás mientras juegan juntos, y los récords y la configuración de la máquina que se juega.
• Tu router, por UPnP o NAT-PMP, para abrir el puerto 47800 solo mientras tu salón está abierto, y cerrarlo cuando lo cerrás.
• api.ipify.org, icanhazip.com o ifconfig.me, para saber tu IP pública y armar tu código de invitación, solo cuando abrís tu salón.
• pradosoftware.com, al abrir la app y cuando elegís Buscar actualizaciones, para ver si hay una versión nueva. No se manda nada sobre vos.
• adb.arcadeitalia.net y raw.githubusercontent.com, para bajar el arte de los muebles de los juegos de tu salón. Esos pedidos incluyen el nombre del juego.
• mamedev.org (Apple TV), solo cuando elegís Juegos de libre distribución y aceptás que son para uso no comercial: la app baja esos juegos de ahí. Solo MAME está autorizado a distribuirlos; Prado Software nunca los aloja.
• Tu propio iCloud, solo si lo usás para pasar tus ROMs de la Mac al Apple TV. Solo vos las ves.

Tus ROMs, configuración, récords y arte quedan en tu aparato: en la Mac en ~/Library/Application Support/MIANTRO ARCADE, y en el Apple TV dentro de la app.

Privacidad en este sitio

Este sitio no usa cookies, analíticas ni scripts o tipografías de terceros. Tu elección de idioma queda guardada en tu navegador. Nuestro proveedor de hosting, Hostinger, guarda registros normales del servidor (como direcciones IP y páginas pedidas) para dar el servicio.

MIANTRO Arcade se entrega tal como está, sin garantía de ningún tipo. Prado Software no se hace responsable de daños que surjan de su uso.
